Sending Test Scores

After you have successfully completed your tests (SAT, Duolingo English Test, and/or TOEFL), you must ensure that the official test results are sent directly to the American universities you are applying to. This process is crucial, as colleges and universities will only accept official test results from the respective testing organizations. Your own copies or screenshots will not be considered valid.

Why is direct submission important?

American colleges and universities require that the test results be directly transmitted from the administering organizations (such as the CollegeBoard, ETS, or Duolingo). This ensures the authenticity and completeness of the data. Without the official scores, many universities will not be able to fully process your application, which can lead to delays in the admissions process.

Important notes

  1. Check the requirements of each university:
Some universities may require additional test results (e.g., SAT Subject Tests or IELTS). Inform yourself about the university's specific requirements and plan accordingly.

  2. Avoid delays:
Submit the results early, as the transmission can take several days to weeks, especially for popular universities with high application volumes.

  3. Ensure authentic submission:
Make sure to use the official submission channels. Incomplete or self-uploaded documents will not be accepted and can invalidate your application.
